Australian Friends of
Israel Life Saving Federation
Surf Life Saving was born in Australia in 1907 (SLSA), and since then thousands of lives have been saved around Australia and around the world through the actions of our highly skilled surf lifesavers
Within SLSA there is also one of the world's largest Youth organisations with over 82,000 young people under the age of 18 involved in Lifesaving through the Nippers and Youth Programs.
Today 310 Surf Clubs exists around Australia, and many countries have adopted the role of surf lifesavers and the Australian SLS Training
The Australian Friends of ILSF has been set up to give support and assistance to the ILSF team in Israel, and to ensure this important and Lifesaving work can continue into the future ..and grow
This level of support will cover a wide range of activities such as fundraising, strategic and practical support and also links back to the Australian Jewish Community.

Many of the members of the Australian Friends are lifesavers themselves and understand the importance of the role ILSF is playing in the development and delivery of water safety programs and culture within Israel
Serving our communities is an important part of both Surf Life Saving and the Australian culture, and this connection between Israel and Australia can only benefit the communities it serves.
Within Australia donations supporting Israel Life Saving Federation can be made through the Australian Friends
