ILSF water safety volunteers headed into the Red Sea as part of the water safety team for the three-day FINA Marathon Swim World Series in Eilat in December.
Volunteers paddled out on lifesaving surfboards to help accompany and watch over some of the world's top swimmers as they competed to qualify in the Olympics for marathon swimming.
Events included relays and a 10-kilometer race. Competitors included the men's and women's Olympic medalists.
