Nippers (ages 7-13)
Israel Life Saving Federation introduced the Junior Educational Development Program of Surf Life Saving Australia widely known as Nippers to Israel's beaches in summer 2020. Suited to children from ages 7-13, this program teaches water safety through play while building comfort and familiarity with the acquatic environment.
Dolphins
(surf rescue certificate for ages 14-17)
Our teens (ages 14-17) Dolphins Program Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC) course provides participants with the skills and knowledge of basic surf awareness and surf rescue techniques in a fun filled experience.
Age manager volunteer
Adult and parent volunteers help ensure the success of our youth programs.
Water safety supervisor

Water Safety Supervisors are volunteers who contribute to the success of all of our programs both by educating and keeping all participants safe in the water. Water safety supervisors are eligible to participate on the ILSF's volunteer water safety team at national swimming events as well as to volunteer with classes for children and adults.
Bronze Medallion international surf rescue certification
Israel Life Saving Federation is proud to present in 2022 Israel’s first-ever international surf rescue certification, known as the Bronze Medallion. Programs for groups
The Israel Life Saving Federation (ILSF) offers fun and dynamic customized courses for organizations looking to offer participants a meaningful experience, beach fitness, personal water safety skills, and/or to volunteer in Israel by learning public safety and aquatic rescue.
Rescue resilience for children affected by Oct. 7 and at-risk youth
The Resilience Rescue Program, inspired by the Australian Life Saving Youth Development Educational Program (Nippers), concentrates on building self-confidence, self-esteem, and self-empowerment among the youth. This is achieved through training in rescue, first aid, leadership, teamwork, and life-saving sports in a positive and enjoyable group setting.
The program aims to help these young children regain trust in themselves and the positive aspects of humanity.
Surf lifesaving sports
and Maccabiah team
Israel Life Saving Federation is hosting the first-ever Surf Life Saving Sports competition as an exhibition sport at the 21st Maccabiah Games in Israel on July 21-22, 2022. The competition will take place on Poleg beach in Netanya.
Water safety training for surf instructors
Surfers are an integral part of ocean safety around the world. As the official representative of the International Life Saving Federation in Israel, the Israel Life Saving Federation is proud to instruct the compulsory water safety component of the Wingate Institute's surf instructor certification program.
